Dermatologists have told us that some beauty drinks on the market, like Glowelle (with antioxidants, green tea extract, and beta carotene), will indeed help give you healthier, younger-looking skin. But we were curious to know how the docs would react to a more extreme version of this trend that's happening in Singapore: a coffee by Nescafe that's spiked with a shot of collagen to perk you up in the morning. Dermatologist Jeannette Graf doesn't believe the drink could be harmful, but explains, "It hasn't been proven and has not been studied, so there is no evidence yet. Still, I wouldn't dismiss it." Graf recommends taking omega-3, omega-6, and vitamin D supplements and eating antioxidant-rich foods like berries to really treat your body—and skin—right.
